I also wanted to update on what I've been up to lately.
I'm starting 3 minutes of running followed by 1 minute of walking after my period comes and goes. I am achy, tired, and bitchy and don't feel like it right now. Instead, I have been walking at a fast pace (3.9) with an incline or using the elliptical. I feel like I'm going to explode, so I hope it comes soon. After chatting with Sonnie the other day, I realized that I was not using the elliptical to my full potential. I usually start out with a resistance of 7 and stay at about 4, alternating pedaling backwards and forwards. I was hardly breaking a sweat. This last week I switched it to a resistance of 8-9 and an incline of 10-15 while only pedaling backwards for warming up and cooling down. Now I am a sweaty mess. Sonnie helped me become a sweaty mess.
I'm also going to attempt one day next week to jog and hide the clock like Mary did. I doubt that I'll be able to do 18 1/5 freakin' minutes, but I'm going to try.
Ciao!

Sweaty girls are sexy. Rawr! :)
Believe in yourself! I was mostly doing a swift shuffle--not so much a run. On Tuesday I did a total of 21 minutes "jogging" at a slightly faster speed, but it wasn't all together like before. I had to take a couple of walking breaks. So let that be a lesson: do not OD on artichoke dip before attempting to exercise!
Also, Sonnie is also helping me to achieve my true sweat potential. Yay!
She's good at makin' us sweat to our max!
I'll remember that fine tip about the artichoke dip.
Exactly how much is 1/5th of a minute and why did I write that?
You knew what I meant. ;-)
