Hello, all!
So my knee has still be bothering me, and instead of running I've been doing low-impact stuff, like yoga and biking and weights and walking. The knee region seem to be improving slowly but surely, and I guess I just have to keep being patient. It's frustrating, but as long as I'm still getting my sweat on, it's not so bad.
Unfortunately (or fortunately?) I am doing a lot of traveling for work in March and won't be in town very much. Next week, I'm going to a conference in Miami which will be pretty busy. Spring Break I'll be on a Llama Trek in New Mexico. And at the end of the month, I'm going to Galveston for four days. Whew! I'm going to bring my exercise band thing because Sonnie once pointed out to me that it's lightweight and easy to pack, and do what I can in my hotel rooms. Plus, hiking around with Llamas should be a good workout. And maybe by the time I'm back to regular training, my knee will be healed. Here's to hoping!
I'm so far planning on tackling the two mile run in Tyler at the end of March, so long as the knee can take it, and I want to do the Running of the Horns in April for sure. Good luck to everyone and happy running!
