push it...push it real good...

When I was getting changed into my work out clothes this afternoon I had it in my mind that I would be doing an outdoor run. The weather is gorgeous and plus I need to start hitting the outside and getting used to adapting to weather and concrete again. I cannot forever stay in my bubble called the Rec Center.

After pulling on my shoes I started to think that I wanted to lift weights, as well. I mean a mile or two of running will not last the duration of my one hour lunch and I didn't feel like using the rest of the time by walking.

So, after debating back and forth with myself I headed for the Rec Center.

I ran two miles at 22 min 38 sec. After catching my breath and wiping the sweat from my eyes I decided to run again. I ran one mile at 11 min 7 sec.

I am spent y'all.

As I eat my Lean Cuisine Panini (damn these are good) my hands are shaking from the effort it is taking me to lift this slice of goodness to my lips. Did you take note of that? My hands are shaking, y'all. Thank goodness I didn't weight train after my run because if I cannot even lift a slice of panini to my mouth then damn!

I have a feeling I will be sleeping by 9 tonight. Ha!
