Running Scared!

Hey everyone!

I am also kind of terrified about running a 5K. I've always wanted to, but I've never been much of a runner. I get really bad cramps in my right side when I run, and I've tried stretching, breathing, eating before a run, eating after a run, holding on to my side WHILE I run. So this is something I'll have to keep in mind and work on. Also, the actually-sticking-to-the-plan part. That will also be tough. But we can do it!

And how exciting to be a part of such a great group of ambitious peeps! I have noticed that the more people who are trying to do something together, the easier it becomes. At this rate, we'll be flying through 5K's in no time!

side stitches are hard to overcome....

a lot of times it is a breathing issue...not getting enough oxygen into your lungs and spreading the wealth around to the muscles...

and sometimes we get cramps when we aren't hydrated enough.
